We are a locals favorite restaurant and fish market. Established in 1982, we have many years experience in Ft. Myers with local seafood and people come from all over for pounds of our shrimp cocktail from our fish market.

This is my first visit toPrawnbrokers and I was very impressed. The wedge of lettuce salad was delicious. My almond crusted shrimp were wonderful and perfectly cooked. The wait staff was fantastic. I enjoyed my meal tremendously.

I have been here a few times. The seafood is usually very fresh. That said, I prefer to order it plain and just add a little lemon or what ever. Rather than to chance how this kitchen will prepare it. It is a good place to eat compared to most others in this area. IMHO the food scene in Lee County has diminished considerably since the 90's when there were over a dozen truly exceptional restaurants and dozens that were pretty hot. These days you need to drive a long way from here for that kind of food and service.

A popular neighborhood restaurant, great seafood and steaks, never disappointed. They also pour a great drink. Excellent Happy Hour.

The Shrimp Bisque was very salty with barely any shrimp. My wife and I both ordered dinner salads hers was so soggy she couldn't eat it they took it off the bill my salad...their specialty, had black lettuce old artichoke hearts and the scallions had growing roots that weren't even cut off. One of the worst salads I have ever attempted to eat. I mentioned it to the waitress who was very nice. She said she told the manager...the manager never came to the table to inquire about our dining experience. My wife and I have been living in this area for decades and have visited this establishment numerous times. There must be New Management or something. We will never return.

The food is always delicious the staff is very polite and helpful it's very close to where we live so it's very convenient
