I had a Honda Civic that was handed down to my nephew, and while he owned it, it had it's transmission fail suddenly while it was in Des Moines.  I called around there for him for quotes and was shocked to find how high the prices were there.  Since I lived here in Iowa City, I suggested we contact Precision and see what they would do it for.  It was a much lower quote.  They proceeded to rebuild it using genuine Honda parts and they even fixed a bad engine mount & an exhaust issue at no extra labor charge, which we appreciated!  It's been over 2 years now, and it's still running fine getting him back and forth to college.  Thanks so much guys!!!

These guys went above and beyond to help me when I was in a jam- broke down on the highway headed through town. Even though my engine quit and they do not repair engines, they called around and found another shop willing to do it for a reasonable price. They also helped me locate a replacement engine and let me leave my bum truck at their busy shop with limited parking for several days at Christmas time. Good dudes with good intentions here.

Best damn tranny shop in town respectful kind people call with any concerns before working on your vehicle they do good communication they're affordable and damn good people behind their services

These guys are awesome! When the alternator in my car was about to give up, they replaced it at a low price. They were also quick and friendly, which I appreciated. My car is running smoothly now and I highly recommend them.
