Pridgen funeral home did an excellent job taking care of my brother’s family during a difficult time. Mrs. Tuawana and the entire staff were available to the family throughout the entire process. Unfortunately, we will all have the need for funeral services during life’s journey. We need to make sure that we choose a staff that will give our loved ones the dignity and respect they deserve and to help handle some of the tasks that go on when laying a beloved to rest. I would like to say Pridgen has just that kind of staff. They helped us from day one till the very end of my brother’s funeral. Whatever the ‘ask,’ they honored the request within measure. They are so professional, from the onset of when you walk through their doors, the empathy and sincere compassion is shown starting with the receptionist to Mrs. Pridgen and staff. I cannot speak highly enough about the care and service we received from Pridgen Funeral home. So, for now, on behalf of the Kennedy family, I commend them and pray they will continue to extend the same excellent services to others as they did to us.
When I started writing this post, I was not sure where to begin. Especially since we are at the start of this process. Thus, I started with Tuawanna Pridgen whose professionalism is second to none. She provided immediate responses and sensitivity at the impending loss of my aunt with clear instructions on next steps. When I lost my aunt, who was like a mom to me, I reached out to Pridgen. As a family we were not sure what facility the family would use. However, I am SO happy Pridgen was the choice. Furthermore, even though everything pretty much just happened and decisions are still being made, I had to acknowledge the person who picked up my aunt. I only regret I cannot remember his name. This young man handled her as if she were HIS family. His respect and professionalism did not stop there. The young gentleman demonstrated a tremendous amount of respect for the fact I was there witnessing the final honor walk for my auntie. As we continue to plan through the process, I am happy and grateful Pridgen is in our corner.
When my sister passed in May, I made the decision to use Pridgen Funeral Home. Mrs Pridgen and her staff were second to none in the service they rendered. They were compassionate and supportive, and helped me get through a difficult time. This is a hard post, however, Pridgen Funeral Home was amazing. Mrs. Pridgen was very respectful, professional and made us as comfortable as we could be with the process of burying my son. They made us feel like family and not just another client. Thank you. Highly recommended.
I am really happy to provide feedback on my experience August 2024 during the death of my sister. She looked beautiful, after a long and difficult illness. Excellent communications with the funeral director, Tuawana Pridgen, she explained everything, and didn’t oversell services. She was very patient, and when everything was finished, I felt like I worked with a close friend who wanted to get it right. The administrative staff was also very professional. Previously we had a family funeral home since 1992, but services became inferior. At the end of the day, we now have a place to handle our burial needs. Thank you!
I personally want to thank Tuawana Pridgen and Staff of Pridgen Funeral Home Services for the OUTSTANDING job you did for the family of John T. Kimber. Your patience and assistance made this process so much easier for his daughter Nichole as she navigated the process. Many can do a "good" job; not everyone can do a job "good. Thank you for doing a job "good". In his final rest he looked like he was merely taking his afternoon nap. I know he is with the Lord and is at peace looking down from heaven watching over us - he would be very proud.
The Pridgen Funeral home did a phenomenal job preparing for my dad’s funeral. Tuawana did an amazing job with my dad’s body. He looked so peaceful, youthful and happy. She was very helpful with the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was seamless even at the funeral. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I was very pleased and I know my dad would have been very pleased as well. Thank you for everything you all have done during this tough time.
