Story

Pub 819 has 50 Local, Regional and Imported Whiskeys. 32 Local and Regional Beers. Menu filled with scratch made specialty burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads and more to tempt any taste bud. A pint club for our beer loving folks and whiskey flights to tantalize senses and lift your spirits.

The Red Wine Burger is one of best burgers I've ever had.... perfectly paired with Knob Creek Kentucky 120 proof Whiskey. This is a fine whiskey.....very smooth with water. Yum.... enjoy!

We visited Pub 819 for a 30th birthday party. The restaurant does not take reservations so they did not realize our group was eating dinner there. We had a party of 15+ people. Some of the guests had traveled 2+ hours to get there. They did get tables ready fairly quickly, it took about 30 minutes. Dinner tasted great, however the restaurant does not “split” the bills for couples. Instead they give a $230 bill for a table to deal with at the end of dinner. Because our party was so large, we had to split our bills up between two tables. They charged us 20% gratuity, which was $37 — just to split the bill for us between the two tables. So each table was billed about $40 extra. The birthday girl didn’t get her dinner for at least 15 minutes after everyone else, which was awful. All in all, the way our bills were handled was unnecessary and I would not recommend this restaurant if you are bringing a large group.

Pub819 is the place to be in Hopkins. The food is amazing and too many beers to count! We work close and come often, as staff make you feel right at home. The Pub quickly became our local lunch spot.

A little bit on the spendy side but generally speaking the food is worth it. Definitely the best place to either eat or get a drink in downtown Hopkins. We've been here a ton and the food has been consistently good. It does seem like portion sizes have gotten bigger so that helps out the cost factor ($13 for a sandwich for instance).

Good food, good drinks, easy to get work done at if need be. Friendly staff, nice place to be. Fills up fast around Happy hour.
