Joe and Bob did a great job introducing me to the property the other day. When I went in to complete the paperwork today, Zack seamlessly picked up the process and got me through the forms quickly, explained everything clearly and got me squared away in my unit. I'm just moving in and so far I've been very impressed with the staff.

The managers are rude, and slow to respond to issues. There is a leak in the wall right across the hall from my unit, and when it rains water pools on the floor. During a heavy rain the water was going into my unit. We went to the manager, nothing was done for over an hour (my niece and I spent the time moving things around so they wouldn't be damaged by the water), and the next day we checked and all that had been done was a couple towels had been thrown on the floor. The wall itself still hasn't been fixed (even though it would be a simple matter of sealing the hole with caulk, or fixing the gutters outside so water didn't fall by the hole). There is a great freight elevator in the building, very large and easy to move large furniture, etc. Unfortunately the new management company has decided that only people with units on the first floor can access it, so it effectively can't be used. Anyone with units not on the first floor is forced to used the much smaller elevator. There is an exit onto Western Ave, from the second floor. This exit has an additional door on the outside which requires a key to open (rather that just an access code). I have a unit on the second floor and have requested a key so I can use that door (I live in the apartments across the street, so it's the easiest door for me to access) I was told it was against policy to provide keys (which seemed strange since I have seen other tenants use a key to open and use the door). There are electrical outlets in the hallways, but it is "against management policy" to use them. I was told this because I had a 40 watt shop light running in my unit. Without that light I need to use a flashlight to see anything in the unit since the overhead lighting of the building is not good enough to see clearly by. There was a leak in the ceiling which got quite a bit of my things wet (fortunately they were plastic tubs, so no damage was done). As far as I know nothing has been done to fix this either. Bottom line, this is a crappy storage place, the access hours are bad, the staff is rude, maintenance is non-existent, and the management keeps adding policies to make it more inconvenient. If it weren't directly across the street from my apartment (I don't have a car, so need to walk) I would have moved somewhere else months ago. It feels like the owners/managers are just trying to keep the facility up until they can sell the building to a developer. Highly recommend looking elsewhere for your storage needs.

I have used public storage for years and this one of the nicest properties I have worked with. Joe answered my questions perfectly and had great customer service skills. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone

This was my first time renting out a storage unit and the month I used it was pretty good in terms of what it could have been. All my things intact and still there is good enough for me. As a more feminine being i am, i was left alone by other patrons while i was using my locker so I felt relatively safe. The lockers aren't the cleanest things in the world, mine is stacked on top of the other and I noticed some very obvious water damage on the edges and corners. Mold will be a thing to be wary of as my locker has some moldy bits around the water damage. You'll end up buying the lock w. a set of keys and a REQUIRED insurance plan. All of that is necessary to get set up with the unit. Throwing that out there cuz im pretty sure this is the "hidden fees" everybody is talking about. All in all I don't got any beef with this place, it did what I paid for. You'll definitely get what you pay for too.
