First time at Puckett's Saturday night. We got there at 5pm and were told there was a 15 wait. Our 15 minutes turned into 1 hr and 8 minutes. During that time, we overheard a woman say it really helps to know someone that works here and the waitress said yeah I had to work hard to get you squeezed in. This was a party of 4 (ours was 3). Keep in mind there had to be at least 25 people waiting to be seated. 
For the food....so, so. Way to expensive for the quality. I guess if you like spicy and everything with red eye gravy and sauces it's ok. You really do not get any options on your sides unless you want to pay more money. Also, if you are there on weekends after 8:30pm, you get an extra $12 per person added to your bill for cover charge for entertainment.
Do yourself a favor, save your money, go to The Loveless for awesome food and great prices!!

This was a fabulous experience. The food and service was great. We will definitely go back when we're in the area.  Parking was right across the street in a free parking garage. The live music was awesome. Richard Jordan was singing the night we were there. He's a Christian pop singer. He sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to our toddler. It was very kid friendly and a night to remember.

Small and intimate. They have great service and amazing food. If you want southern food or southern food with just a little twist this place is for you. The piggy Mac is to die for. It pulled pork and Mac and cheese!! Soooo good!!

Puckett's has a large menu selection for appetizers, food, and drinks. This time, I tried the fried pickles for starters. They had a hint of spice along with a crisp bite of sour. For the entree, I got the fried catfish. It was well done and very tasty. My friend ordered the piggy mac (pulled pork with mac and cheese) and loved it.

The pulled pork is magnificent, as is the Nashville hot chicken. Whether you like hot or sweet BBQ sauce, they have both. The sweet BBQ sauce also works great on their sweet potato fries They do turnip greens very well, but make sure to spice it up with the pepper sauce.
