Worth checking out. Solid food. Plenty of entertainment options if they're not reserved. They seem to have figured some things out. At first, they were busy/popular/new and they tried to compensate for that by taking too many table reservations and scheduled group functions. It seems that the excitement of a new place has somewhat faded and they have more of a steady stream of patrons instead of overcrowding and wait times.

My office has tried out Punch Bowl a handful of times. Being that it is directly across from our building, we were excited about a bar/restaurant with so much to offer. Unfortunately we haven't had a good experience yet. We collaborated on our disappointments. The theme has been very poor service. It's not typically busy in Punch Bowl and every time we go our service is as if the place i packed. Very slow service turn around. Compared to the competition this place has in the West End, their prices are unbelievable for what you get in service and quality. If you're going to the West End I'd make the walk to the Loop, Yard House, or Rojo. Punch Bowl can improve.

The food and drinks menu is wide ranging and the quality of food is excellent. The 10-person Foosball Table was a lot of fun as well. If you have a large group getting together THIS is a place you should definitely try out. AND, since it's out in the suburbs, Parking is FREE and close!

Service can be a bit slow, but the staff is very friendly and competent. They were out of a number of mass produced beers on a Sunday. I hope that's a one-off. The bowling lanes were glitchy but fun, and they may need new dartboards soon. Great time overall, I'd recommend it as a date spot.
