The mission of the Putnam County Fire Department is to provide safe and efficient service to minimize the loss of life and property resulting from fires and other disasters. This includes public fire safety education, fire code enforcement, and arson investigation.

Our vision is to continue to transform today's department into a progressive, proactive, and professional department that will exceed today's demands and meet tomorrows.

We are devoted to to serving the citizens of Putnam County with compassion and courage and to exceed their expectations.
