Came for my dad's birthday last night. Ordered roast duck and some other dishes. Overall food quality is very good, superb service. The waiter checked on us often and even explained to us what the Chinese characters meant on the plate when my mom asked. The price is up there, though not outrages. Would come again for special occasions.

We came here for a birthday dinner on Sunday and as a Peking Roast Duck fan, I was not disappointed. We ordered 【QJD PREMIUM ‘PEONY DUCK’ 】 and the 【Cabbage Soup】, 【Signature Crispy Pigeon Fish】, vegetables, and 【Sweet and Sour Pork】. The Roast duck is very authentic - The service was very attentive and I believe the manager comes and talks to every table. He is very persuasive and could probably sell you anything! They also changed our plates very often and came and checked in on us to ensure that we had everything that we needed. The desserts that came after our meal was also a lovely gesture, there was little duckling shaped crispy puff stuffed with datesPaste、Walnut Crisp. The restaurant has Chinese and English menu,Parking is also very convenient.It's a good place for a party

I think this is a best Chinese restaurant. Dishes are no different compare to others but if you taste the dish, you can tell a big difference. Flavours is just right, 【火燎鸭心】 showed great knife skills and perfect cooking time. Seafood is always fresh. 【宫保鸡丁】 tasted very good with a well balance taste of Chinese spice . Free parking. Will come back for sure.

In short: four star food quality, one star service and three star facility. Like all other Chinese food outside China, you can't expect a real original taste like what you experienced in China. That part can be fully understand. The store manager deliberately came to explain what makes the differences in toronto duck feeding method when the chief cutting in front of us. Assuming lots of Chinese customers raised concern on that in the past. Other food quality is pretty good. One the other hand, Service experience was so bad. Being ignored all the time, cold faces with no smile, talk to you like you are here begging for food... if you don't expect a warm welcome feeling and just want to feed yourself then that's okay. But I would very much doubt... spending 118 dollars for only one duck, one won't expect just food. Waiters and waitresses certainly need more training. Summary, their duck is the best in CANADA even can't compare with its original, waiters and waitresses service need a big improvement to avoid losing customers.

I've been wanting to try the traditional Chinese "Peking roast duck" for the longest time now and a few people recommended that I go here. Overall their roast duck were amazing but keep in mind that I have nothing to compare them too since this was the first time.Service and Environment:It's a pretty big and huge restaurant situated in the Marriott Hotel. We came at around 5 pm on a Saturday afternoon ,Because of an appointment in advance, so got a seat immediately. Service was quick and servers were really friendly.
