10 min from Universal Studios. Breakfast was hot & fresh when we went down (about 8:00) both days we stayed. Staff is friendly. There is a Jack in the Box right next door so you don't have to drive to get a late night snack. There are also a lot of other places to eat near the hotel, just a quick drive up the street. There is an elevator in the lobby so you don't have to carry luggage up stairs if you're not on the bottom level.

Biggest problem was the strong smell of cigarettes smoke in a non-smoking room. The room was not completely clean. The desk and bedside table were still dirty. We found false lashes on the bedside table from the previous. There was still hair found in the tub. When I told the front desk, I was told at first "well you are in a smoking room.". When I told him I reserved non smoking he then replied with oh yeah you are in a non smoking room. They did offer to switch me rooms which I did tell them wouldn't make a difference because his guests were smoking up and down the hallway so I'm sure there would be a problem in any of their "non-smoking" rooms, and it was also 11:00pm. We went to sleep and got up first thing with bites on our legs to check out! They also seemed unconcerned when I mention the items left behind by their cleaning staff.

Nice and cheap place. If you don't want to spend big money, then this is your choice. Expect to hear your neighbors. Great room space for the price and free parking.

Half a star at best. Dirty and the power did not work and they could not fix it til the next day. Fixtures in shower were broken. Staff was very nice..but spend the extra $50 and stay anywhere else

For the price, you can find cleaner hotels elsewhere. The room I was in had carpet so dirty that it turned my feet black. Showing a picture to the front desk attendant got me an apology and an excuse. High-speed internet service was very high speed but so choppy that you get connection for maybe 5 seconds out of a minute during the evenings. Luckily they had a high signal with Verizon so I used my cellphone data instead.
