The staff members working at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. I especially appreciated how they treated my wife and son. Also, the room was comfortable and much larger than I had anticipated considering the price. Altogether, this hotel was an excellent value.

Breakfast was bad, but staff was very friendly. The carpet and some other things (like hairdryers) could use updating, but they did have a fully functional jacuzzi tub in the room. What absolutely needed to be updated was updated. Met the manager as well - he was very pleasent and humorous to us and with his staff.

As usual, the grand suites is a nice overnight hotel in the mall area of Bellingham. If you're unlucky enough to get an exterior suite, prepare for some noise. Try and opt for an interior room if possible. Olive Garden is next door. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Rooms are clean and nicely kept. Front desk staff are nice. Breakfast is minimal but hot.

It was pretty okay. The biscuits and gravy were good not great and the bananas were straight up green, but hey, free breakfast. I was pretty dismayed to find leftover coffee in the coffee maker on the 2nd morning of my stay. I didn't use the coffee maker the first day at all. So. That's kinda gross. I told the staff and they said, and I quote, "Hahaha, sorry." So that's the vibe.

Really bad condition rooms. Dated decor, furniture and old bathroom fixture. Torn curtains, water damage on ceiling, bubbling wall paper, broken or dirty electrical outlets, old bed, bedroom was partially cleaned all three nights of our stay. I can't recommend this hotel.
