Spent a weekend here in one of the Hillside King rooms. The room was a bit dated but was clean and felt cozy. Great views of the sound. The bathroom has two sinks which was really nice and the soaker tub only big enough for one. Found the bed had two kinds of pillows, one was firm the other was soft. The road around the property is in rough shape,lots of water has caused deep trenches, it really needs some work. We spent some time in the lounge, they had some live music and a really nice ambiance. Food was on the pricey side but everyone was happy with it. Drinks are also on the pricey side. Nice selection of craft beers. Overall not a bad place to stay. We visited during February so we didn't partake in much of what be offered in the summer. I would probably return again for another visit!

Fantastic across the board! Beautiful accommodations and excellent customer service. Gorgeous outdoor grounds where we ate outside, listened to live music and then topped it all off with meeting new people around a communal outdoor fire pit. It was our 1 year wedding anniversary and we had an amazing weekend.

Rosario resort is a very interesting place and worth a visit. The history is fascinating. Try to be in the lodge at 4pm for the piano and organ recital and slide show. The docent is very entertaining and seeing the old photos and hearing the old pipe organ play is worth the visit. We have had dinner at Rosario twice. Let's just say it was big on atmosphere and expense, and less on a hearty meal. Overall the resort seems past it's prime, it could use some sprucing up, there were some repairs going on in the marina, but various buildings were unkept, the fountain could have been a set in a scary movie. We walked within 10 feet of a buck deer on one of the paths, that was pretty neat.

The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the grounds are quiet and gorgeous and the hotel restaurant and spa is delicious with a very friendly and knowledagble staff. My wife and I came here for our three year anniversary and will most certainly be doing year four and five here as well. Can't recommend enough.

This place is amazing. I can't believe how the museum and spa feel like a time capsule. I wish that I could live here. The food at the restaurant was equally impressive.
