I've been to Miami & had Cuban food a few years ago. I have since wanting to go back since then. We went to a different restaurant but it was packed and happened to pass by Que Rico Cuban Cafe. I was scared to try the place as I have this perception that only Miami have the best Cuban food. I am so gravely mistaken! Que Rico's food is even better than the one I had in Miami! We had the Cuban meatloaf, Oxtail Soup & Tamal. Appetizer. The flavors we're so robust and rich! Perfectly seasoned! If we ever go back to Louisiana, we'll definitely check this place out again! Highly recommend!

The 2 tamales plate is big enough to share, and the mojitos are phenomenal. Fried yuca appetizer is very large and comes with an awesome garlic dip.

If you like Cuban/Latin food?? This is the place to go!! Excellent place, great food. My only complain is about the darn coffee machine noice!!!

Just left because the server forgot about us after bringing our drinks and appetizer. He didn't bring any silverware or napkins or anything. He literally forgot about our table for 30 minutes. We sat around until we asked someone else who worked there. They still had the audacity to bring me the full bill for the drinks and appetizer. Take my $15, ill never think about his awful place again. We googled another restaurant to eat dinner while we sat there with no service. Horrible.
