Lunch at Queen Margherita was so good! The service was amazing, our waitress Frances was very friendly and attentive. Pizza was perfect, calamari tender and delicious. Definitely will be coming back again.

My friend who drove in from Waterloo really wanted to try their pizza and thought it was delicious, although he did add later that the dough didn't feel completely cooked through. 

Trying to accommodate my friend as a gluten-free vegan, who doesn't eat rice either was difficult here as their gluten-free pizza crust contains both egg whites and rice flour. 

So after going back and forth between server and kitchen, we finally came into a compromise on a salad with rapini because I really wanted some warm rapini!

It was pleasant but wasn't filling enough as I ended up going to Mad Mexican and had another meal. 

The server was amazing. He was friendly and helpful.

The room was large but busy. Had a rustic moderate hipster feel. Could accommodate large groups like 20 but couple easily seated at window tables. Service prompt and attentive. We didn't have reservations but front of house squeezed us in. Good for people with small kids. Food was fabulous. We missed winterlicious but they had a prix fixed menu that could even be shared. Really recommend the rice balls.  Almost ordered a second.

This restaurant was quite the surprise in terms of it's decor (located in a former bank), with high ceilings and a spacious dining area. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. QMP serves up really great tasting Italian food, like the ridiculously delicious risotto balls and calamari. Their pizzas are also made with pleasingly fresh ingredients cooked to the right level. Definitely a great place to have a good time!

The best pizza, great ambience, great wine list, spotty serving...  One of these things is forgivable.  I am a traditionalist and love the Margherita.  Their crust is fantastic and ingredients are fresh.  The open kitchen includes the eye catching wood oven.  Great dining room which is in a former bank, which gives it high ceilings and it has been well designed.  Great spot!
