I'm disappointed with this gym immensely. What is with the dearth of gyms in Ellicott City? Why can't we have a 24 Hour Fitness or Snap Fitness? The hours at Quest are pitiful. They close at 8 on Fridays, 7 Saturdays, and 6 Sundays. On the weekends, I can only work out in the evening. The gym is showing its age and there is a limited selection. The only reason I joined is because it's close to my home. It's terribly overpriced for what it offers. I pay $50 a month plus an initiation fee. I am locked into a year membership. I will definitely end my membership at the end of the year.

I've been a member for 10 years and love the variety of group classes that are taught by engaged, friendly, effective fitness trainers 7 days a week. The facility is clean and the equipment is kept in good repair. Quest has convenient hours of operation, is close to home, and has a nice child care center. The membership price is reasonable, although there is a special fee for yoga classes.

I have been a member for 15 years. I found that the variety of classes that Quest offers is what appeals to me. There are classes for Pilates, yoga, cardio-boxing, weights, barre, cardio, and spinning. Therefore, I'm not doing the same thing everyday. The instructors are knowledgeable and they make sure we have the correct alignment when using weights or doing exercises. They know that each of us have our limitations so personal adaptions to the demonstrated exercise is encouraged. When previous members see a new face we try to introduce ourselves and make the new person feel welcome.
