Just thought I’d let you know how the flat roof you put on a year ago is doing. We had to have a new tile roof put on because of hurricane Hermine. I wonder why I didn’t call you for a quote…….
When they did the demo on the tile roof, the contractor brought me up to take a look at the flat roof you put on. It was already leaking in spots, had a giant pond in the middle, the seams were separating,  and it was not tied into the existing tile roof per code. You put the flat roof on to close the sale of our home last year, working for the seller just to get a quick check.  
If you’ll recall, this was the one on the T**es that your guys left exposed at the end of the day and then it rained that night. Absolutely brilliant!!
As you were working on the flat roof, you were also trying to fix a small leak at our other house. 
I’m still waiting on the $500 you said you would reimburse me for the attempted repair. Let me refresh. We were closing the one you let rain on, while repairing the other. You said you would give me the $500 you charged me because the other roof repair should have never been attempted. Nice distraction attempt, but it didn't work. 
It’s bad enough the quality of work you put out. But to offer up a refund to keep us quiet about another half-a** job is even worse. Then, you don’t pay the hush-money, takes it to another level to the already bad reputation roofers like you give the trade. 

Every time I see an RJ job, I’ll make sure to stop in and tell the customer what quality of service they can expect. I probably won’t see you around our neighborhood though. I like to talk to my neighbors.

Have had Owens roofing as my roofing contractor for some twenty five years now. It's always nice to know that your job will be done by professionals that take pride in what they do. Bob has been my sales rep for the most recent job and his attention to detail makes dealing with Owens the preferred choice. I wouldn't trust something as important as my roof to anyone else. Just wish they did floors also.

Tile roof put on by company on 6/27/14.  Cost: 18,900. 

 Placed 2 calls, message left with answering service and office staff  one week apart for leak in bathroom prior to storm on 9/1/16 and received no response.

9/6 call placed again for leaks in bathroom, bedroom, loft and patio with no response. 

9/8 call placed again and no response.

9/9 call placed and spoke with office staff.  Discussed leaving 4 messages with no response. Requested immediate action.

Contacted by RJ Owens approx. 30 minutes after speaking with office staff.  Came out that day to look at damages. Informed by Mr. Owens the leak in my loft area was not a leak but had a picture disputing this statement.  Advised it would be taken care of next week.

On 9/13 one person came out to home and made no contact with owner while there.  Since I was home it was observed the repair took less than 30 minutes.  Received a call later from RJ Owens stating repair was corrected.  Informed Mr. Owens I was home during this time and was aware of the time spent at my home and did not address the other leaks   coming from my home.  Mr. Owens replied he placed a new cap  on the roof which corrected the leak I guess to my bathroom but did not address the other rooms.  He continue to inform me the repairs were done.  

My roof now has loose shingles and and unpainted cap from the repair on 9/13.  I now am hiring a roof inspector to come out this week to assess/document damages.

Whoever they allow to drive the truck is insane. Owens roofing truck flies by my house every morning when my 5 year old son is waiting for the bus. These guys FLY over the speedbump in front of my house and often lose trash from the truck they drive so fast. Someone may end up with a large coffee cup through theur window if i see them speed by the kids on my street again. No respect or care for children

We highly recommend RJ Owens Roofing.  It's not an easy task to find a good roofer in this town.  They are easy to communicate with, very knowledgeable with the product, very thorough.  They cleaned up the yard very well when finished with the roofing job at our house.  We had serious leaks in several problem areas of our roof, which RJ identified and quickly remedied.  The roofers worked in sections and never left the roof exposed.  All staff were respectful and hard working. Family owned business, we worked with John, who provided excellent customer service and was conscientious.
