I will start with explaining the reason for 4 stars. The hostesses were very dry and rude when I walked in. I didn't feel welcomed. I really believe it is important to have friendly employees up front to greet your customers because it could seriously be a deal breaker when walking in to a restaurant. 

BUT, our server was very friendly and helpful. The Happy Hour menu is great and the food is delicious. We ordered various appetizers and dishes and they were all great. The manager was present on the floor and came around asking tables how they were doing. Loved that.

We were a group of 12 for happy hour. It was a mess. A simple order took an hour. I ordered one mixed drink and it was given to me without a straw. I asked for one and it took 20 min before I got one. I ended up paying more on my bill.  One of my coworkers was told don't worry about your tab they got mixed up somehow. When I spoke up about mine they didn't do anything to try to fix it.  The waitress mentioned a few times some other table was driving her crazy and apologized for the delay. However, that did not make up for the bad experience we all had.

I used to enjoy this place. The quality of the food is becoming less worth the consistent aggravation. There appears to be a growing problem with turnover, all the attentive, knowledgeable, staff is gone and replaced by people who don’t know what’s on their own menus. The wait staff is either consistently undermanned or genuinely unable to handle a crowded room (despite a recent renovation which added additional bar seating, this only exacerbated the issue). The food has been arriving at odd intervals more often than in the past—sushi arriving far sooner than appetizers; drinks after the entrees. The food itself tastes of a lesser quality and inconsistent even when ordering the same thing twice in the same meal. All things considered this restaurant has been increasingly unpredictable, and for a restaurant that mainly serves raw food, that’s a scary situation.

Took my daughter there for her Bornday, and we had a great time. The service was great and the atmosphere was also great. The only issue was that the place was freezing cold. Other than that no complaint. Would certainly go back again.

This place is great! They recently re upholstered the seats in their booths and it was much needed. Their food is good, and if you go during happy hour you get amazing deals. Their garlic edamame is a must try!
