Took my wife here for a MRI scan her appointment was at 12:15 we sat for hours just to be seen at 3:00. The scan took about an hour or so however the tech was very nice to my wife so that's a plus.

The emergency department was very helpful and gave me after care instructions(arh did not). I was shocked to see 2.3 stars they were fantastic and fast.

My family took our 82 year old Mother  to RGH. She went into the hospital  in cardiac arrest with pneumonia in both lungs. She has bone cancer, a bad heart, and is in renial failure. Among other health problems. She has been on pain medication for  many years to control her pain level. The doctor let our Mother lay in pain for 3 days. She was begging us to help relieve her pain. It was a horrible experience.   
We complained to the staff,  we were told we have calls into the doctor. We were told they could do nothing without doctors permission.  The PA got up in my sisters face and said we do not believe in giving pain medication At one point we were told they lost some of her paperwork. We were told they didnt know she had bone cancer. 
My sister finally requested  another doctor please take a  look at her chart. Read all the chart and see her history. Finally they gave her some pain medication.  
When they did release her, they sent her home with some gentleman papers who was going to Hospice. Please do not take your love ones to this hospital, if you do not want to see them suffer .

What a morning. Had to be there at 7:00 AM. Surgery at 9. Here we are 5 1/2 hrs later and all we got is an IV drip. Still got 2 operations and some cath lab patients in front of Hubby.  Talk about over booking. TV wouldn't work, no phone in room, ask for blanket cause room was so cold. Then ask for the heated air mattress. Nurse went to get him one and never came back. The room just kept getting colder.? He has had nothing to eat or drink since midnight. Need I say more.  Dr. Said, he will keep him over night since his 9AM surgery will be closer to late evening. Everyone was so nice after we threw this fit on them. Even got me a cup of coffee. Yea !!! This hospital really needs a reorganization plan. I would not recommend it at all.

This hospital is an excellent place to receive healthcare. I went there in the past several weeks several times for testing and the staff was incredibly courteous, compassionate and really seemed to want to help me. Kudos!!
