This review does not target the entire store.  This review pertains to the only reason I shop at this Ralphs.  The butcher is absolutely wonderful! If you are the cook at your house, the mom, the taxi driver for the kids to sports and social outings, you need to know about Bill T., the best butcher in town!  I discovered Bill T. when I overheard a conversation months ago that he was having with another customer. He helped her select her meat, made recommendations, etc. Since then, when I am in a rush and need to plan for a meal, Bill will walk me through a great dinner.  Last night for example, I baked for 5 hours, a tri-tip roast on very low heat following Bill's instructions. It was terrific and ready just as I scheduled.  Happens every time! Fish, chicken, etc. (Don't ignore the turkey selections). He has a wealth of info and happily shares it.

They are not crowded, so getting in and out quickly is nice.  Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable about drug interactions, and well mannered.  In all, it is a nice alternative to Rite-Aid when you time is a premium
