The beds were made nicely. The bathroom was filthy! The refrigerator did not work. The staff at the front desk or were nice, however, not concerned about the issues with the room. I would never go there again.

so I got here late at night after driving from PA after the hurricane (Irma) had passed on my way back home to FL. after calling several area hotels this was the only one that still had rooms that also allowed pets as I had my three dogs with me. I booked via the phone so it wouldn't be full by the time I got there and checked in. one thing I will say (I have a B.S. in hotel management) is that the employees were saying everyone's room assignment aloud, which is a no no in case they are being followed or stalked etc. it's a big safety issue. when I checked in, the guy told me my room number and how to get there and said I was being put in a suite. why? I have no idea. if that's all they had left available or if that was the only dog room available I don't know. the room itself was nice albeit DUSTY as hell! there is a mirror over the bed (actually, mirrors are everywhere!), you know, so you can watch yourself sleep and all, and you can barely see through it cause of the dust. the toiler paper roll was also empty when I arrived; luckily there was a spare roll behind it. there was also no trash can in the bathroom. weird. the AC was loud but functional. and it was a place to pass out before getting back on the road.

It's certainly not a 5 star hotel but it had vacancy during the solar eclipse expectation. They offer free breakfast and they have a pool. Check in was pretty easy and they were pleasant throughout the process. The rooms, however we're sub par. The blankets were uncomfortable, the air conditioning unit was loud, the only place to eat nearby is Shoney's and they were a nightmare restaurant. If you have to stay here,. Good luck. If you do not have to,. Do not.

Really comfy beds. I woke up the next morning feeling refreshed. The breakfast could use a few adjustments but overall very pleased with this hotel.

While my husband drove up I95 North, I looked online, reading reviews and comparing prices for over 2 hours trying to find a decent hotel at a decent price. I found the Ramada in Walterboro. First I called to make sure there was availability. The young man on the phone was very helpful, friendly and pleasant to speak to. It was great! It was affordable, clean and very comfortable! I would stay there again. I'm so glad I read reviews and chose to stay there.
