Food was good but not worth the price you pay for it. Service was horrible. I made reservations with Open Table and we waited more than 30 mins after we arrived. Every person who attended to us was rushing, talking to customers while they walk away to do something else. The female greeter was not pleasant at all. Did not even apologize that we had to wait long to be seated but even said that there are people waiting longer....implying that we should not be questioning why we had to wait. I won't recommend this place and won't come back because of the unpleasant experience with staff.

Hello all! I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. I moved to cedar grove in 2014. Little falls is not too far from there. I was on the hunt for a nice steak house and stumbled upon this one. The service is impeccable! I'm very knit picky when I dine out. Certain things like a pitcher of hot water is very important . The restaurant grew accustomed to me and my likes. I sat at this cute little table in the back where the ambiance is perfect! Each time I visit I end up at the same little table. Over time, I didn't have to ask for my hot water pitcher or my glass of moscato/Riesling, it would automatically come with the table. For me, that goes a long way where customer service is concerned. Now I have moved quite a bit since 2014. I currently reside in Somerset NJ. Last night was my first visit after about 2years of dining with RARE. They blew me away when the manager remembered me. I was seated with my guest at the same little table in the back, my hot water pitcher was brought out without my asking. And the service is by far the best I've ever had! Now, I love to travel and dine out quite often. Whether it be a over priced restaurant with bad service and bad food. You see, no matter the distance I travel I will always end up at RARE. Nothing else compares. . Rare, has the best starter bites that comes with dining. The best cut steak I have ever indulged in. Side order portions are family size and are always prepared to one's expectation. Let's not forget the best cookies and cream desert on the planet!!! Now, you all might be thinking this all seems over priced and expensive. Well, coming from me I say compared to all the other restaurants with overpriced foods that taste like rubbish, the price is fair and the food is to die for !!!! Believe me when I say I wish I could pick the entire restaurant up, staff and all and move it down the street from my home. Of course that's impossible! so for now, I will travel an hour and change just to dine here All my love, Kayon Davis.

The grilled pork chop was as good as it gets. I've never had a pork chop that taste like bacon before. Highly recommend!

An awesome new experience, the taste of the food is awesome, their steaks are marinated for weeks before they get to your table, the taste I can describe it as an orgasmic one. Excellent service a premiere experience with premium quality.
