One of those great local bookstores that fills up every shelf, nook and cranny of an old house, books piled everywhere and overflowing. I always am happy to get a sense of a place's unique character through the books. Here is emphasis is on science fiction, mysteries, paperback best sellers and thrillers. But there's something for everyone. It's just enjoyable to wander around the labyrinth and explore, opening yourself up to the fateful hands of serendipity.

A quaint store stuffed to the gills with books everywhere. They are organized by genre and all are given a very fair to super cheap price. All the books I saw were in good condition, even most of the old ones. Definitely worth a look through.

It is the epitome of "local bookstore" it smells like old books, almost every surface available from floor to ceiling is absolutely filled with books from every genre and era imaginable. Well worth the visit.

You walk into the quaint little shop and you're immediately greeted by the glorious smell of well loved books. There is an inviting children's area to occupy young ones and an extensive selection of every type of book that will make even the most senior feel like a kid in a candy shop again. The shop captures the appropriate feeling of organized chaos perfectly. At first glance it appears there are books strewn headlessly everywhere yet upon closer inspection they are neatly organized and labeled. If you can't seem to find what you are looking for the friendly owner will help you locate your treasure. The most incredible collection of fine art in 29 Palms.
