We purchased a king size mattress in Springfield.  Part of the deal was free delivery of the new mattress and removal of the old mattress.  But, as the drivers were carrying my old mattress down the stairs, they announced that they could not take it because it had a stain.
I contacted customer service and they confirmed that they only remove mattresses that are in good condition.  This was not mentioned by the salesman.  It does not seem to appear on their website.  And- why would I get a new mattress if the old one was still in good shape?
To prepare for this delivery I rearranged my schedule, cancelled an appointment, and stripped the bed.  Then we got to do it all over again.

I was actually offended by a comment I overheard by an associate in regards to a customers ability to spend money based on there age and ethnic background. As soon as I walked in I was bumbarded by commands from associates who had decided what I could afford and what I was going to buy. I liked the living room set I saw but I was told I would be buying a way higher priced one. When I said I didn't like the price I was told no worries I could pay it off over time on credit. I let them know I was not willing to have my credit run. I was lead to believe that I could not go any further without this being done. I left because of this and saw Bobs Discount Furniture as I was driving away. I went inside and saw the same guy that the Raymour associates were disparaging buying a heck of a lot of stuff. I said to him now I feel like I found the right place. He explained that he was only going to pay a certain amount for deliveries even if he bought a houseful of furniture so this made him feel safe in taking care of more needs now and actually spending way less on furniture and way less on delivery. I in the end did the same. The Bobs people did not herass me and were grateful to help. They also had a cozy cafe where everything is free. I didn't't have time to stop in but it looked super nice. Just a different culture and people you know want you around. Those people at Raymour think their so tricky but I think most people have it figured out. They just want to take too much money to do as little as possible.
