I had the special which was smoked salmon Benedict and we shared the cinnamon roll pancake. I can say without a doubt it was the best pancake I've ever had. The service was great. We showed up right before it got busy and were seated right away but it looks like there can be quite a wait. It would be worth it though! Amazing breakfast.

They are true to their name. Their food tastes like "real" food. It tastes homemade. I've only tried some of their breakfasts (try the pancake with the sausages in it... what?!), because let's face it, I'm a breakfast type of girl... and I never go wrong here! :)

Real food cafe has the best breakfast food in Grand Rapids. Hands down! Everything is delicious; even the coffee has something special about it.

Expect a long wait on weekend mornings - but it's worth the wait.

The food here is so good! I had the pancake with bacon and sausage crumbled in, and two eggs over medium. It was awesome! I was going crazy as I waited for my food, because we sat at the counter where we could see all the ridiculously delicious-looking food coming out: bananas foster french toast, cinnamon roll pancakes, strawberries and other fresh fruits piled high atop waffles with whipped cream and powdered sugar, as well as biscuits and gravy, tons of different omelettes, and so many other things... I can't wait to go back for more! I want to order like 12 different things at once...

My friend brought me here today and the food was delicious! It wasn't busy today luckily so we got to pick our seats and the food didn't take that long to come out either. The staff was very friendly and the portion sizes are huge for the prices. I can't wait to go again!
