Rechel and Associates are the best, period!  I give them my absolutely highest rating...from the front office, Deb and Beth to the paralegal Patti to the attorneys Ted and Jennifer all are professional and  knowledgeable but most important they all are have empathy.  I worked most closely with Jennifer so the rest of my comments will be about her. 
Jennifer took a very complicated child custody case representing me (the grand parent) seeking temporary custody of my grandchild due to the parent's (my daughter) inability to care for the child due to the her inappropriate life style (ie, drugs, alcohol, etc).
When I became aware of how bad the problem was, I contacted another attorney and she totally mishandled the case.  This alerted my daughter that I was seeking custody of my grand daughter, and of course, this made the case much more difficult.; however, after I fired the first attorney, I contacted Jennifer and she immediately analyzed the case with expert skill.  She cleared her calendar and she worked with me that day in her office to immediately and tirelessly put in an emergency motion for the protection of my grandchild.  This was on a Friday, so she gave me her cell # and she personally stayed in contact with me to guide me through the process over the weekend as we awaited the judge to make a decision on the emergency motion.  If you are not aware, grandparents basically have no rights in Florida regarding grandchildren so it is very difficult to win temporary custody.  However, the judge ruled in my favor.  Then, Jennifer instructed me how the emergency pick-up order process worked.  In this process, I picked-up my grand daughter from my daughter with the aid of law enforcement. Jennifer's knowledgeable, calm manner took my stress out of this potentially volatile situation. To emphasize how rare it is to win temporary custody and get a pick up order, the law enforcement officer told me that he had never executed one in his 15-year career.  Jennifer's calm quick action ensured the safety of my grand daughter.  This is a true testament to Jennifer's empathy and  skill.
Then, Jennifer flawlessly represented me in subsequent court battles with my daughter as she attempted to regain custody of my grand daughter before she made the required changes for reunification.  She also helped me stop the  father (my grand daughter's father) gain custody as he was and has been a totally absent parent living in Nevada.
Currently, my daughter has made the required changes for reunification.  I still have temporary custody and I am involved in mediation with the construction of  the parenting plan between my daughter and my grand daughter's father. 
Therefore, all of my goals for my grand daughter have been met and and are being met for the future....she is safe, happy and secure. 
 It is my true belief that Jennifer has been instrumental in saving my grand daughter's life and that it the highest praise and future recommendation that I can give her.  Absolutely hire her without fail!

My family and I are forever grateful for everything Ted and his team did for us. Divorce is grueling for everyone involved and you absolutely need a leader to keep you focused on what’s important.  More importantly, you need a leader that is focused on fighting for what’s important. Ted is that man and we are forever grateful.

When you have an Attorney that takes the time to explain what the outcome could be depending on the direction you take. When he allowes negotiation to be part of the outcome and doesn't look at confrontation and a fight to get the results you want if not needed. He is truly looking out for your best interest. Monetarily and Emotionally, he truly cares. That Attorney is Ted Rechel . For best results hire Ted Rechel. I DID!

Our case involved a complicated termination of parental rights and adoption by stepparent. Jennifer Todd did an incredible job of taking us through this journey to a successful end. Jennifer was always responsive and got back to me very quickly. She was wonderful to have in our corner during the most trying moments of this process. She was also very considerate with our funds. I highly recommend Jennifer Todd as a top-notch family lawyer.
