Rector Funeral Home was opened in November of 1996. We are one of 3 FAMILY OWNED funeral homes in Amarillo. We are committed to serving each family as if they were a part of our family. Rector funeral home is owned by Lynn Rector who has been a funeral service professional since 1985

Lynn Rector helped our family make a difficult time more bearable. He and his staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was just as requested. They took the time to deliver the flowers to our home along with extra remembrance cards and even provided thank you cards for us. The caring hearts of Lynn and his staff will never be forgotten.

Rector Funeral Home handled my brothers funeral back in 2005 and my Momma's this past October. They are a very helpful, kind and professional group of people. Lynn Rector even assisted me with a personal request that meant a great deal to me. Thank you guys!

The Rector Family took care of our family's loss like they were family! I never write comments, but the professional, personal, caring treatment we received cannnot go without expressing our gratitude! We had no burial policy. A friend recommended Lynn Rector to us. Before, during, and even after the service, "They were there for us!" In a way, Rector was like our extended family. You know, like the ones who go unseen, but always there! They anticipated every thing we weren't able to think of. I can't tell you how many times we said, " What about...?" Lynn and his staff would say, "Its already been taken care of." I have and will continue to recommend the Rector Family to my family, friends, and even casual acquaintances. Thank you, Lynn, for all you've done and continue to do for me and my family. Your encouragement and true friendship will never be forgotten! Thank you again and may our Lord continue to bless you, your family, and your business far beyond anything you could ever ask for or imagine!

They were very helpful through all of the hard decisions & we couldn't hv made it through without all the extra help they provided-especially coming out to the house with paperwork! They are actually sincere in their care for their customer!! Definitely 5 stars!
