Went in with a long list of books and an extremely nice employee offered to walk through the store with us to find the books. He helped us find 4 books, and knew exactly where to go to find them. Didn’t catch his name, but was great! All other staff are also extremely nice. Love getting books here! Great prices too!

The books feel like they are eagerly waiting for their next home. The place exudes character and warmth. Look for Ivy's recommendations in sci-fi.  You will find a little bit of everything and many gems. I don't get up to Denton often, but I try to stop in when I do.  This place and it's books speaks to my soul

Recycled Books has been a staple of life in Denton, TX for many, many years. Every visit is an adventure! You can buy and sell books (though, not textbooks) here. They also have a used music and video selection: Blu-ray, DVD, vinyl records, CDs, etc. It's easy and enjoyable to get pulled-in going through what they have to offer. They do not keep an inventory of their selections, though. Recycled has been around longer than digital inventory has been a thing, so they've just kept to that. If you are looking for a particular book by a specific author, you can ask where it would most likely be shelved, and the staff can point you in that direction. I used to find my books for required summer reading assignments here when I was in high school. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Once you learn the layout of the place, it's super easy to go back to your favorite sections for quick perusing.

My new favorite happy place! Such a cool old timey bookstore. Great selection you could spend the whole day here and you still wouldn't see everything I always get some great records and mystery books here highly recommend prices on par with most bookstores half of the cover price or more if it's a rare book.
