The first time I went was okay, but the kiosks were broken and no one seemed to know where they going or what to do. It was too hot the setting was off. Plus, due to the technical issues the lines to purchase books was extremely long and they listed books that were never in stock. Love my school, but they will have to step it up next semester coming soon, yet there is plenty of time.

I was very impressed by this bookstore. The building was newly renovated and very clean! The staff was helpful and friendly. I went when the store was fairly slow so I cannot speak to how well they handle high volume traffic. 

The UTA Bookstore sells apparel, snacks, school supplies, and (of course) books. They are also an authorized Apple retailer.

I receive pretty quick service every time I visit and everything is quite organized despite the store being really busy at peak hours. The only downside is the fact that almost everything sold is overpriced. You can find things that they sell way cheaper at other stores nearby.

Everything is fine, sans the blatant price gouging. The place has a decent atmosphere and the remodel makes it look nicer. The Starbucks next door is certainly a plus. The staff is alright except for that one time an employee followed me in the electronics section. Aside from that, the place is just a no go for books. Go anywhere else if possible, Amazon, Chegg, Barnes and Noble, etc... they won’t price gouge like this place, at least not as badly. Take this as a cautionary tale, I paid $80 for a rental on a 10 year old book because I waited too long when others got the same book for $26 at other stores. They have a price matching policy which is shifty as hell, last semester they told me they don’t price match off Amazon, but now this semester they price match exclusively off Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Infuriating to say the least. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is the fact that the store is good for literally everything else. UTA merch, Starbucks, school supplies, but not textbooks. Avoid at all costs.

Overpriced pieces of garbage, and don't get me started on the garbage Starbucks that's attached. Literally the reason I transferred out of UTA is because this bookstore is so badly kept up that you just immediately feel the need to leave soon as you walk in. If you don't leave ASAP you may hork up your lunch. God knows countless others have cause it seems like nobody bothered to clean up the mess.
