Veterinary Medical Center is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Howell, MI. The professional and courteous staff at Veterinary Medical Center seeks to provide the best possible medical care, surgical care and dental care for their highly-valued patients. On site boarding is also available. We now also offer laser therapy (see therapy laser link).

This Vet is FULL OF WONDERFUL, CARING, SENSITIVE staff and owners. They went above and beyond when our beloved dog Max had to be put down and they ALWAYS go ABOVE AND BEYOND for our dog Ginger. The vet also was able to determine the mystery illness Ginger was dealing with, we almost lost her but Dr Fried found it and found the way to treat her correctly and this disease EPI is hard to diagnose and treat. We still have Ginger today because of Dr Fried!! Also the staff is AMAZING!!! We feel blessed to have found them!!! I get angry when i see a negative post on here because these people are more caring than any vet I have ever been to. They also NEVER push you to spend money in fact they look for ways to help you reduce costs.

I loved everything about this place. When our regular vet couldn't get us in because of the holidays Red Barn squeezed us in. Everyone was exceptional and friendly. Loved the doc and her staff! Super helpful, did not overcharge, very reasonable. Helpful and informative. This place is a bit far from us but I was so pleased, Red Barn is where we will go from now on!

FIRST visit of THREE for all our babies to our new Veterinarian and WOW.....
What a GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! 
Relocating from Tampa, Florida and being with the same veterinarian for over 15 years brought great reluctance in trying to secure the same passion, loving heart, and expertise ......but we are more than pleasantly surprised with the recommendation of going to the Red Barn. 

I left feeling full of confidence from the amazing staff that greets you when you walk in (and the death of help that they provided with all of my phone calls to them) and then finally meeting the Dr truly one thing I can check off the list as not just being done but a total slam dunk of success!!

Love the Doctors, love the staff. I love everything about this place. Everyone is super friendly, the doctors are awesome with my cats. It's not over priced. And the barn is super cute.

I would give 0 if I could. I'm writing this review under my husband's account. Our puppy developed hematoma due to playing tug o war with her sister all the time. We brought her in 2-2 1/2 weeks ago right as we noticed her ears. They set up an appointment to take care of it along with getting her spaying, however the appointment wasn't until today, 2-2 1/2 weeks later. At first we thought it was far out and is it safe to wait that long but the vet didn't seem concerned so we went with it. Today when my husband picked her up after her procedure the surgeon, Lee Ann, was extremely rude to him and made the statement "that's what happens when you don't take care of it in time". I am beyond disgusted about this remark BEYOND. Like I stated we came in a little over two weeks ago when noticed and not one person stated we needed to get it fixed earlier. Your judgemental attitude and the fact that we were not informed one of her ears would not be able to be fixed if we waited until her appointment, are both reasons we will not be returning. Why in the world would you make an appointment 2 weeks out if this is a time sensitive issue and not inform us? And then pass judgment? Disgusting.
