great service by our waiter - hair in food. The new salmon sandwich was less than tasty, with white, hard tomatoes and deep fried lemons (including the rinds) and a bland sauce. The salmon was tasty but I shouldn't have had it in the sandwich. The night was unfortunately ruined when we were packing up our doggy boxes and noticed thick, curly black hair on the fries. I paid the bill and showed my waiter that the hair was there, he said that there was a cook with a black beard working - I hope it was beard hair - the alternative is unimaginable. After seeing that, I couldn't get the impression that there was hair in the back of my throat out of my head till the next day. This used to be one of our favorite spots to bring the kids after sports, it was perfect for cooling off after a hot summer day at the park. But now I think I'll find somewhere else to go that doesn't have parts of people in the food.

I absolutely can’t stand those annnoying touch screen game pads they put on every table. Recently we went in, my young son had been touching the game pad. We told him to stop. Turns out, he accidentally ordered a game that was put on our bill. From this point on, I will never go to any restaurant that automatically puts these on the table. It’s hard enough getting families to eat together. Having a restaurant try to squeeze extra money out of you by supply ridiculous distractions on the table is obnoxious.

I always want to like Red Robin, with their array of gourmet burgers and kid-friendly atmosphere. And while my 2-year-old daughter loves the burgers and mac and cheese, every time I eat there, I regret it. The burgers themselves are pretty low quality; I honestly think you can get a better burger at Bill Gray's. The fries taste frozen, and everything has a greasy sheen that leaves me feeling queasy after. So while I give them points for being family-oriented and having a decent selection, I have yet to actually enjoy a meal here.

Now I know I need never go back to a Red Robin. Granted we did not order burgers, but after a six hour car ride we didnt want something so heavy. I ordered a cup of chili which was ice cold and a chicken ceasar salad which consisted of a piece of grilled chicken sitting atop a bunch of romaine lettuce. The salad was kind of laughable at the low low price of 11 bucks. I could have purchase 5 heads of romaine lettuce. My daughter ordered the children's mac and cheese which was a watery flavorless mess. So there's that.

Love Red Robin! Food & service is always good. Pleasantly surprised by the expensive kids menu. The kids grilled chicken is crazy good. I had to yell at my husband to get HIM to stop eating them!
