When my wife and I get a sitter that’s willing to watch 4 kids, we know we can count on Taka House to come through with awesome sushi and shashimi. We ordered 5 different rolls last night and each one was better than the last. So good!

Nice little sushi joint. I liked it, but it was a bit pricey (most sushi places are, anyway), and they use a dab of wasabi to 'glue' the fish to the rice. This can be a bit of a shock if you're not aware of it.

Taka house what a joke , me and my husband ordered the salmon teriyaki , Shumai, and shrimp tempura rolls . FOOD was mediocre at best , the salmon was disgusting , Shumai was good , the shrimp tempura rolls were rolled wrong and loosely . 2. We waited 35 minutes for water !!We got our check before we got checked on or got our water then the server with a attitude which we have recorded didn't see a issue with waiting that long he said "it's busy " but every other table got checked on and reviewed their drinks early when questioned about another table receiving their water he nonchalantly said " O theirs they got a a different order when clearly the place is small "and they were sitting right behind us the server couldn't understand why we were upset come on .. o and said server didn't bring our food , didn't bring our check , and didn't check on us . So we tipped the waitress that did the work I have been to plenty of establishments which were bigger and busier and never have been treated this way . I wondered if we looked like everyone would we have gotten better service.

Good food great people, this place is almost a 40 miles round trip from where I live but I would drive there any day of the week to enjoy more fantastic food
