We stayed here a couple weeks ago because we needed a place for two nights while we renovate our house in Osage Beach. The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel was clean and the indoor pool came in handy. We have two children. Ages 2 and 8. It ended up pouring down rain all weekend long! I was able to hang out at the hotel all day and swim with the kids. The manager or possibly the owner saw us swimming. I forgot arm floats for my two year old at home. Her brother or my self just had to hold her two swim. He brought in arm floats and other toys for the kids to play with! This made their day!

Nice place. i would have rated it a 5 star but because of the bad experience that we had during night i'm giving it a 3 star. the rooms are not sound proof at all. I mean i know you will get to hear a little bit of sound every now and then but hearing someone chatting in the middle of the night around 1 am which feels like they are sitting right next to you is not something that you would like.

I would never recommend this hotel. The first night we put up with running pounding and yelling and crying til the late hours. The next night I had to call the front desk 5 times and still loudness til late hours. It seemed as if the hotel staff lived in the hotel and left the kids alone with the front desk person in charge of them. When I called the front desk person he got very nervous when I was complaining of the noise. At one point he was in the room while talking to me. Everything was quite til he left then the noise resumed and no adult voices heard. If there had been another hotel that we could have stayed we would have left. The bedspread had something splattered all over the bottom. Wasn't not a smart choice of a place to stay and will never stay there again.

The room itself was great, it was clean and spacious. The parking and the room to eat breakfast in were very small. Both had one way in and one way out. The weekend I came down it was very crowded and it was difficult to move around and to find a parking spot.

Red Roof Inn at the Lake of the Ozarks was a nice place to stay. We were given a newly renovated room to stay in. They include a complementary breakfast, pool, and hot tub. All together it was a good night's stay. We will consider them again .
