We took a cab against my better judgment when the metro had significant delays. The credit card machine went down so after the driver telling me it was my card, I tried another. It wasn't. So he took us to the bank to take out money. Thank God my friend's bank was close because mine charges fees for other atms. It took forever. We were way later than if we'd waited for train. I should have walked.

>>> CREDIT CARD SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN WORKING FOR OVER 3 WEEKS & THEY'VE NEVER DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT! I've spohen to their management office each time (I take their cabs at least 12x a week). When I swipe my cards it always shows as declined. There's nothing wrong with the credit cards. Other friends have had the same problem. >>> THEIR SERVICE HAS REALLY GOTTEN TERRIBLE OVER THE PAST MONTH. >>> HORROR STORY >>> Today I reserved a cab for 1:40pm to go to an EMERGENCY doctor's appt. at 2pm. Long story short, even after 4 different cabs were assigned, including 2 that were put on a priority basis, I was finally picked up at 2:25 pm! >>> It's a major inconvenience to have to carry $5 & $1 bills to pay for the cabs because of their defective credit card system.

Called 3 times and was told my taxi would be there within 6 mins.. waited 30 mins and ended up waving down a blue top cab. Will never call for a Arlington red top. I even said I was outside the Ritz carlton.. which you'd think that it wouldn't take a taxi long to get there.. smh. Just no. No a million times to red top Arlington

Tried to get a cab to airport. Cab driver called me from the airport and said he didnt want to waste his time. Since I needed to be at the airport in the time he could get to me I appreciated the cab drivers call. But their dispatch is lousy. Its not the first time but it will be the last. Alexandria yellow cab has saved me more than once! Bye bye Red Top

Have used this can company for 2 years. Always late. Sometimes they never show up. I book a cab and the booking apparently never happens or goes to the wrong company? Complete crap service. You are better off walking than trying to book a cab with Red Top. Seriously - walk. It will be quicker and less stressful.
