Water levels returning since damm was repaired. Nice small lake.  Boat dock access getting better with water rising. Little cafe/ bar nice atmosphere
Live music on weekends in summer usually.

Used it as a one night stopover. Level sites out in the open. Very few shade trees. Easy access and self registration.

Great place for photography and beautiful lake.  Take the dirt roads and see where they lead you.

This is the friendliest bar in McCook the staff here is wonderful the drinks are cold and strong you can't go wrong stopping at Old Sarge's

It's a nice place. Good views if camping or just driving around. Decent sized lake is gorgeous. Lots of people boating and fishing. Camping area with archery area. Restrooms are all around. Marina near the lake. There's kyak rentals. In the hunting season this is a popular place because it is state grounds where hunting is permitted.
