Rude and don’t honor what the Red Wing website states to have boots resoled. Website states “pay 140 for a resole and ships free for any service over 50 dollars”. Store tried to up charge and was rude about. If he’s the owner, what a shame. In this day and age he should learn about turning a service to a sale. He’s one of many Red Wing stores in the area, go anywhere but here and enjoy your experience. I wonder how Red Wing would feel about his recommendations of using anyone but them for repairs? I bought a Red Wing boot for a reason and I’d like them to resole them. I’ll have another store send them out and I’ll buy my fifth pair from them as well. Bum.

I bought a pair of Irish Setter boots in 1997 and have been wearing since then. The Irish Setter has been my essential item to survive winter.

Complete lack of customer service, don’t waste your time. I went here after already looking online and was 100 percent ready to buy a pair of work boots. The only interaction the staffwhich outnumbered the customers in the storehad with me was them pointing to a box of masks which I don’t mind wearing at all, in fact I even brought my own. The problem I have is no greeting no words no customer service.  You missed an easy sale today, I was excited to buy my first pair of red wing boots, but now I will never buy anything from this company.

Very knowledgeable staff. I didn't have anyone try to up sell me. They just told me the spects of their different boots, how to take care of them and why it's so important to take care of them. I bought a pair of the King Toe boots in brown. I use them everyday for work. I love them. Superior quality boots. Professional, friendly staff. I was not disappointed and will be returning when I'm ready to but another pair.

Rob was very friendly and knowledgeable; my purchase experience was very pleasant. I work in construction, and needed a pair of work boots that fit well and would stand up to my workplace conditions. Rob did a professional fitting, and talked me through the pros and cons of several models. He also gave me advice on the longevity and care of my boots the kind of advice you'd get from a friend, not someone trying to upsell you more stuff. My new go-to place for workwear!

Work wear fit for a King

Purchased a set of Blacksmiths recently. Decent boots, but when you buy a set of $300 boots I expect to have the original packaging, not a box from another shoe with the product description sharpied on the side. It makes me wonder if I got sold a set of returns or displays at full price. I just wish they were upfront about this detail. If I ever need to process a return or repair, I can imagine this will just be another complication.

Fantastic store.  I've bought two pairs of boots here over the last two years though a safety shoe program at my work.  I found the staff to be kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help me find the best fit for my foot, even if it meant ordering in different sizes to try on that they didn't normally carry in store.  I found out things about my feet in this store I didn't know for the last 30 years.  I always call these my 20-year boots when I describe them to people.  I have never encountered an issue with my boots and wet weather.  I clean them once a month and put oil on them about every other month.  I've worn them outside in all weather, and for hours on end.  I have had one pair resoled once after I put some wear on my left boot.  I didn't encounter any complaints on behalf of Red Wing.  Get some boots from these guys.  You won't regret it.

I have been wearing RW boots for about 20 years replacing them approximately every 2 years. I have always had very good performance with my boots and have only purchased from another location twice. I will be purchasing another pair tonight. Always great boots and great service.

I'd like to start this review off by saying the blame lies with myself for taking the guy's word who was "helping" me but the experience has completely soured me on buying products locally which is why I went to this store in the first place. Went in to try on a pair of iron rangers, the guy measured my foot and assured me that this was the size I should be getting. I left to think it over after much pressure to buy them right then. Went in a couple days later to buy them. I wore them ONCE to walk around INSIDE and quickly realized it's the wrong size. Called them today about an exchange and admitted I wore them ONCE . I believe it was the same guy who told me this is the size I should buy. I was then told since I wore them there's nothing he can do. Do yourself a favor, get measured in the store and order that size online to see if it will fit you. Don't feel pressured to buy local, at least in regard to this store.
