Don't usually write reviews but this place is so horrible I felt I had to. Took my band new guitar for a basic step up. They did a horrible job and damaged my guitar. Employees are extremely rude and the owner is the worst of them all. Don't give this place your business.

The luthier is very informative, but the prices are horrendously high. Low selectionm high prices at a very inconvenient location. These local stores are dying and I'm not surprised.

"Mike" is the owner, also the only one doing "repairs" or "setups." He will F up your guitar! Warning! He will damage your guitar! He does NOT KNOW WHAT THE F HE IS DOING! Scratched up my 5k dollar Les Paul Custom Shop Custom Ordered guitar: Put dings, scratches, and ruined the truss rod by adjusting it incorrectly. I will never ever visit this scumbags shop, not even to have a $50 Korean guitar tuned up! This idiot will argue with you claiming he never did anything wrong! Do yourself a favor, read the bad reviews, they are true! He scratched up three of my Les Pauls in the past year! He only knows how to make actions SKY HIGH. That is all. If you want to get dings, scratches, scuffs, and ruined neck on any stringed instrument: THIS HOLE IN THE WALL CLASSLESS SHOP IS THE PLACE TO GO! My review is based off of coming here for three years: NEVER AGAIN. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN, PERMANENTLY.

Had a fret level done, but all he did was shine the frets with steel wool and raise the action. Did not want to be confrontational so I let it go, $90 wasted plus the new strings charge tacked on. Also sold a nice guitar to this shop and they gouged me, flipped it for thousands, come to find out. Both times to same older guy. I believe the younger guy is more trustworthy.
