I really like this little movie theater. You have to know what to expect before you go. This isn't one of those fancy redone theaters with recliners. It's old and small, but it's one of a couple theaters in Charlotte that plays artsy movies. 

We went here for a movie before going to dinner at Deejai next door. There are only two theaters, so there isn't a big variety in what they play. I like that they haven't converted it to have recliners because there are more seats and you don't have to get there really early just to get a seat. 

The big downside to me is the lack of stadium seating. If you in the front 3/4 of the theater, you almost have to look up to be able to see. The back is at a slight incline which is good, but it is farther away than most movie theaters. 

It's a Regal theater, so you can expect the same prices as other theaters. 

I would come back here again!

It's a lovely old theater so keep that in mind, no bells and whistles like more recently built theaters. And they tend to play more hard to find films, I've seen several here I couldn't find anywhere else in Charlotte. Only issue I had this last time was the popcorn, rather bland even with butter. I hope they never close this theater, it's a classic.

Love this place. Always have. It's a landmark and should always remain so!  I'd give even more stars if they were available! Fav place for a really good movie...and fenwicks is just doors away! Plus lots of other good eating options...

This is an older movie theater, but it's one of my favorites. The staff is excellent and the theater runs a decent number of indie and less well-known releases. There are a couple of dining options within walking distance (Deejai Thai is right next door; Panera is about 30 yards away) and even more options within a couple of minutes driving.

This is a very cozy theater and the two movies that they were showing were really good choices. I am actually disappointed that I didn't do a double feature. The concessions are super personal considering that the counter is very small and only one person behind it. Overall it seems to only take 4-5 people to man this theater, but it seems it can accommodate about 500.
