II've spent over 4 hours of my own time dealing with trying to close an account. I closed it once. Then some refunded money came through. So they reopened it. Why they don't just forward you a check is beyond me. Anyway, because it was closed I no longer could access online banking. Where I had a recurring charge of less than $5. I specifically mention it to one of the bankers. I can't access or stop it. I asked for him to stop it. He didn't. Now my balance is -$40.20. Because of an overdraft. Thanks Esmedin. Now I have to go in another time to close this account. I already told him I'm not paying the overdraft fee. Ill pay the $4.20 charge even though I specifically told him that I wanted the recurring charge to be cancelled. Since it is through regions payment center, only he could stop the payments. This is like the worst bank ever. They took so much of my money just because they could. Switch to St Louis Community Credit Union. I did and I've had literally no problems.

Update: they opened it yet again. More charges I didn't approve. The tally is up to 8 hours.

Pulled up to the drive up ATM to pull 40$ out, paid 3.50 to get the money from them, went inside because I needed it in smaller bills, they refused to change it for me. I literally just paid Regions 3.50 to get 40$ and then turn around and be told my money isn't good enough for them to exchange for me. Funny how I can't exchange but your willing to let me withdraw... never coming back here again.

Arrived at 515 and the bank was already closed when signs and Google indicated it would be open till 530
