I called ahead asking if they were experienced in flat ironing African American hair. I was told yes, so I made an appointment. After an hour and a half the stylist could not straighten it. I could have done a better job myself. When I questioned her as she was "finishing up", she got her coworker to help her. The coworker brought out a mini travel flat iron an restraighten me child's hair. She first stylist admitted to never having done this before. After an additional hour, I had to leave. It was a mess and a waste of $45. I will never go there again.

Regis Salon - 3 stars 
I'm usually not this harsh with reviews, however a haircut is something that cannot be taken back. They did okay for my haircut however I don't believe they are being very careful. You never want to have to worry when you're getting a haircut. Nothing's more embarrassing than going to a business meeting with a bad haircut. There are extremely fast and cutting off a lot of time - way more than other Barber still in the area which made me worry.I give them three stars because they were prompt, they were open when all the other haircut stores were not, and they sounded kind. If their haircuts were as good as they advertise there would not be a problem. Haircuts here are very expensive and not very professional. I'm not advertising for Fantastic Sams, however they work fine for me especially since I have high expectation and I like a good deal once in awhile. If you want to know ok haircut and you're not willing to wait until the the other barber shops open then this place would be fine. This is nothing else than my genuine opinion.

DON'T GO HERE FOR EYEBROW WAXING!! 
I went in on Sunday because it was the only place open. When I arrived there it was empty, so we got started right away. 

I told her all I wanted was clean up and keep my natural shape. Will that didn't happen. She made them way too thin, and she was clumsy. She spoiled little bits of wax on my face and hair more then once. 

I will not come here again they ruined my eyebrows and now I have to wait until they grow back to their natural shape.

Although my daughter's haircut was fine and the girl that did it was friendly, my complaint is about the remaining staff in the shop that night.
My ten year old daughter has been growing her hair out for two years to donate it to locks of love. When we told the ladies this, they scoffed and went on about how locks of life be is a scam and they charge the patients. In front of my daughter. With absolutely no discretion. I told the first one I knew, that we had done our research. Later a second one told me the same thing. Again, without any tact. Again, and a little less patiently, I explained we had done our research in to the various charities. 
Ladies, you crushed my daughter. My ten year old, who is trying to do something to help other children. You were rude and judgemental not to mention unprofessional. although I appreciate the suggestion of another charity, maybe next time pull the parent aside and make the suggestion discreetly instead of blathering on about why you disagree on our choice of charity.
