I went for cut and style today.  I showed the hairstylist Kearra, who was talking care of me, a picture of how I would like to get it cut. A short layered haircut. I was so looking forward to get a nice cut. Instead I looked like a mushroom. She chopped my hair off all the way to the hairline in the back- even though it was much longer in the picture and her colleague advised her not to. The layers on the top of the head where way too long. The banks where butchered. The sides uneven.  She kept telling me that I have difficult hair which it is not. (it's Caucasian, straight and thick).  She  kept telling me about every 30 seconds for 1 1/2 hours of how thick my hair is. And if my parents have thick hair, or if my kids have thick hair... and so on and on and on. Then she showed me the bottom of her shoes to justify her "thick hair" rant. Please note that she only cut about 2 inches off.. and oh how massively she would have to thin out my hair. I asked her not to do so because at that point I was about to scream about her already bad job.  Yes I have thick hair - but it is not massively thick and you can only listen to it for so long. I showed a lot of patience and just wanted to get out of there. After her blow drying my hair, I paid went home and washed my hair with hopes that it might not look as awful if I style it myself. After drying my hair I saw how many mistakes she had made and how uneven the cut actually was. It was worst than what I had expected.  I called the salon about an hour after leaving the store, complained and asked to have it fixed. I talked to a woman who was somewhat unfriendly.  However - I went back the same evening and a young man fixed the cut as much as he could. I don’t think he was allowed to say much but I could definitely tell that he agreed that stylist Kearra had messed up my hair.   Even tho he was very nice - I cannot recommend this salon. I will never go back there ever again.

There was only one occasion I was not impressed with my hair style and that person no longer works there. Plus it wasn't horrible cut. I am always very happy with my cut and color! Regis's prices are affordable if you're looking for a professional environment and great service. I'll never go anywhere else!

I’ve always had a great experience at this Regis, always the best cut and color and worth the $. Today my stylist, I think her name was Diamisa (sorry if I butchered the spelling) did the best job and was so sweet! I went in with no idea what I wanted done and ended up with the prettiest balayage which she suggested! She’s great, I highly reccomend.
