Wanted to keep business local. I had them prepare a tax return for the first time. My return is slightly more complicated than the average return where I do not feel comfortable doing it myself, but still not difficult. When it was completed I went in to review it. The person that was reviewing it with me would not show me the bill. When I asked about it before I left I was informed that they take credit and I was ushered out. When I looked at the bill once it was in my hands it was $870! But because I was a first time customer I got $100 discounted. I was told they charge by time they worked on it, but they would not show me the documentation. I ended up returning the return that they prepared and will take my business elsewhere.
