one item was delivered broken and another had a stain after asking repeated times to be very careful. Other then that they were fast and drove to in state new location very quickly. after we were told the amount limit after the move the delivery driver wanted more money. $200. we told them no and to bill us. well it was them just trying to make pocket cash. agreement in paper work is all we were going to pay. Gave them a cash tip. be careful of them asking for more money. would use again.

Ricky, Francisco, and John came out to help me with my family's permanent change of station move. My spouse is currently deployed, and I was a little nervous to be doing it alone. These guys were extremely nice, explained everything that was going to happen, and moved very quickly. I felt very at ease after working with them. I look forward to working with them again!

Packers packed on Wed scheduling the move for Friday. Then while my husband and I were in AZ finalizing things on our way back my daughter said the movers packed the house while we were gone. Issue is packing things we dont need and not packing things we need. Now in AZ w a half ass move. While 1/4 our things stil in Cali and our house in AZ has things that were supposed to stay in Cali. They managed to dent every 6 of my crock pots and gashes in brand new furniture we purchased. I'd have better luck hiring a foot ball team. Still cannot find many items as a lot of the boxes were mislabeled or misc items all lumped in together for no reason. Very disappointed as I believe the quote was triple the amount any other mover gave us. But I relied on thinking our things would not be damaged...WRONG! They told us they would be here early Monday AM. they came after 3 pm w no updates or warning. I had to call text and finally call the office as the movers did not contact us back. Arriving at 3 pm and sun down 6pm we only kept them here til 7pm. Needless to say half of the items were not moved or put together. Also missing half the yard items as they were too busy to pack everything. I just came back to the house before we sell and found plenty of drawers cabinets of unpacked items. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Republic Moving and Storage should be investigated by the Bureau of Stupidity. It is truly hard to fathom how a moving company that doesn't show up can stay in business. Excuses, excuses, excuses about why they didn't show up on time. There is no end to how truly awful my experience was. They deserve zero stars but one is the lowest allowed.

DO NOT use this company Everything with our move started off well. I had a professional and timely meeting with Skip, our estimator. He handed me over to Amber, our move representative. The process was straightforward, and this was the company (Republic) that had moved me multiple times while I served in the military without issue. The packers showed up on time, and seemed quite professional. Packing and loading went as expected. We needed to have our household goods stored for less than one week at their facility which is no more than a few miles from our house. We were charged 3k for these few days, and what we were apparently paying for during that time is for people to steal from us. Our shipment arrived yesterday, with the first comment from the driver that he was surprised to find the truck unlocked (it arrived with no locks on it) when he attached his truck to it. Things went downhill from there. Each box is supposed to be labelled, both with its contents, and with a sticker so you can inventory items as they come off of the truck. Nearly half of the boxes and items that came off of the truck had no sticker, and one word descriptions of the contents. The inventory system that I was supposed to use as the customer was rendered completely useless by the lack of inventory stickers. Multiple times throughout the day the unloading crew, which is local to our new home location, and deals with unloading moves on a daily basis commented that "they had never seen anything like this." The crew asked us to come and photo document the loading condition of the vehicle because they did not want to be held liable for the contents. Apparently they had a contest to see how fast they could pack our things, regardless of the damage it caused. Multiple items were damaged, and we have barely begun to open the boxes. We had declared high value items, none of which were given an inventory number, making them impossible to verify. 2 Imac desktop computers containing critical work material were packed (I watched them being packed) have mysteriously gone missing from the time they were packed at our house, until the time our shipment arrived at our new home. The only stop along the way, the "warehouse" where our goods were supposedly stored. The lack of inventory stickers, and the missing items were so obscene to the crew that unpacked us, that the driver did not feel comfortable signing the paperwork, and he escalated the situation to his boss, in an attempt to ensure his crew was not held liable. Again, "I have never seen anything like this in 15 years" was a common theme. I called and emailed Amber about an hour into the offload and expressed my concern for the condition of our goods (at this point I knew nothing of the missing items). What you will get when you contact this company is quite simple: Sorry, contact the claims department...Which is not directly associated with the movers. Basically, take your complaint somewhere else, we already have your money. I emailed both Skip and Amber later in the day expressing my concern, with a request they respond and confirm receipt of my email. No response, which perfectly articulates how much this company cares. I have yet to be able to contact the claims department, but I will begin that journey in a few hours. There are plenty of reputable moving companies out there, please save yourself the pain and frustration by finding ANY other company than this one. They don't care, period.
