New and clean. Breakfast and coffee are excellent. Fresh fruit, waffle, oatmeal, juice, eggs, sausage and yogurt. The evening salard and drinks are surprising but thoughtful. The location is super. The service is great and also pet friendly.

I really like the Residence Inns and this one was no exception. Great staff, updated room decor and modern conviences. This hotel was a couple blocks from Colorado where there is tons of shopping and great restaurants. Parking was an issue but being in the heart of Pasadena was worth it. The breakfast was good and I rarely eat at hotel breakfasts. Real eggs, fresh fruit, waffle, real butter. Yum.

Hotel the best in Pasadena and maybe Los Angeles area for customer care, comfort and cleanliness. Staff from the front desk (especially Joker) to housekeeping were happy and welcoming. Somebody is doing something right here! Thank you for a great 2 month stay! You made me feel at home.

Beautiful room! They offer a nice, full breakfast. There is a pool and lounge area. And it's very close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

The room is nice and comfortable for 2-3 people. Bathroom is clean, shower was spacious and the fan is quiet, TV is modernized so that you can local channels and Netflix {your account}, Hulu, crackle. The room card is easy to use against a pad instead of a slot to insert. And for my purpose to be near universal studio, this works out great.
