We have several Resteration Hardware  pieces of furniture in house but the Asheville RH Outlet place was a HUGE letdown. Don't waste your time: inflated prices, poor selection and mostly damaged items.

unbelievably awesome sales staff.  we found some incredible deals here.  The sales staff was not pushy and very helpful.  The best part maybe the guys that help load your items.  These guy are the greatest.  They helped (as much as they can) but were very nice is helping us load our furniture and take it apart to fit into our car.  Love these guys...

Most of the furniture here is damaged beyond repair! Leather sofas with missing patches of leather, tables with chunks missing from the top, and seriously over priced discount rugs ($3000+). Store is giant and has minimal inventory. Drove 2 hours specifically to shop here and wasted our time. Seriously disappointing!!!

I have been a fan of RH for a couple of decades now and so I was eager to see what this outlet looked like.  Well, let me tell you, it is large, attractive, well staffed and impressively stocked.  On my first visit on opening day I scored some impressive deals in bedding.  

Don't go expecting things to be cheap. . .nothing from RH is.  Nonetheless, the discounts are significant and in particular, if you are interested in buying furniture, you have a chance to actually sit on it or test it out in some manner before buying.  That's quite a benefit when making a commitment to this quality of furniture.

I understand from staff that trucks will be bringing in new merchandise around twice a week.  This store is a huge plus for the Asheville Outlets.

Seriously the most difficult experience I've ever encountered trying to purchase something. I was not in Asheville when I realized a chest that I had been watching was on a 50% off sale. It would be 48 hrs before I was back in Asheville, ( I was 4 1/2  hours away) so I called the store. They were not allowed to hold anything, ok, I can understand that. I offered to pay them by credit card over the phone, they said they could not take credit cards over the phone. Hmmm.....ok, our business is in Asheville, I'll send over our office manager with a certified check, "No" again. Ok, I really want this chest...... so I said, "I will cut my vacation short and start  driving tomorrow morning, the earliest I can leave is 6 am, but that still may put me there 30 minutes after you open. Can I call you the minute you open and let you know how far out I am (!5-30 minutes probably), and can you hang onto it until I get there." The answer was "No", also against company policy. I honestly felt like they went out of there way to be as difficult as possible. When I asked about the certified check, I also ask about emailing ID's etc, before I could finish my sentence the RH employee actually interrupted me to say "No, No, No". I am a designer and have loved buying certain things from RH, especially the gramercy sink. They also have several library lights and sconces that I specify frequently. But this is the end, I left three stars because of many past pleasant experiences with RH online.
