Impossible to get through to the English speaking service. If every day the call volume is too high to get an answer this is not "exceptional" as the voicemail says, this is the norm. Perhaps if the phonelines opened for a full day, there might be a chance of getting through. ONE STAR for the English speaking service, as there was no service and no response via Revenue Online. However, if you are happy to speak as Gaeilge, you'll get through quick enough and the lady I spoke with was extremely helpful.
I'd like to give a big shout out and thanks to 'Connie' in revenue this morning 24th Oct 2022 around 9.40am. Connie was understanding, calm, attentive and well just flipping fantastic. I had an issue and had tried to get it resolved on another call. Now I know I'm not an expert, my fiscal and financial vocabulary is rubbish and I get very nervous around financial matters-they just turn my brain to mush. But I felt the behaviour of the previous revenue agent I had spoken to a few weeks earlier to be dismissive, condescending and abrupt. So much so that I not only didn't get the issue sorted I didn't have courage up to call back and try again for a few weeks. But this morning, thank God, I got Connie. She listened, untangled and made sense of my scrambled data and then found a way to fix the issue quickly. I did thank her personally but I don't think she realised just how much her excellent service helped me out. It's wasn't just her resolution of the issue but the lifting of the stress and worry concerning the matter off my shoulders. Thank you.
Absolutely unacceptable the service revenue has. Paying huge taxes and when I need service, there is none. -Extremely difficult to reach them -several phone nr out of service -robot speaking for minutes time wasting -phone call hanging up -encouraging to use Revenue account, but can't always resolve on the account Volume is too high? This why _all the above Revenue Office from Cork big office building closed since pandemic, restrictions gone and still the same excuse. Not even a star.
The website is not helpful nor user friendly and the personnel aren't any better - I have uploaded medical expenses for the past four years but it looks like nobody is investigating these, and this goes for most other instances. We have tried to ring them to no avail - no care whatsoever on their part as we have been mostly dismissed even in the most basic queries. One star is too many.
very bad service over the call their IVR over the phone will not reach to anyone. The call without going to hold the call ends up with the recorded message.

Quality of the service and kindness of the professional is there to help you will make the difference. I've been there a few times, in general seems that the people working there are not happy at their job and your questions bother them. There are also great professionals, who assist you with your queries.
I have called every day this week at different times and they always seem to have high call volume and then drop the call. They are helpful if you get on the phone with them
I’ve been calling every 5 mins from 9:30-1.30 a few days now and it always says high call volume which I doubt it is like what’s the story?! It’s horrible what if there is a serious matter what are people supposed to do ??? This is ridiculous
It's absolutely preposterous that a public service like this opens for 4 hours a day. It's unthinkable in this day and age. A decision made by one person no doubt. Totally unacceptable. Disgusting attitude towards workers.
