My friend had his transmission replaced there and so far it's working good.

Ive had work completed by JW a couple different times, very reasonably priced for his work backs up his warranty that he provides with his rebuilt transmissions and would definately recommend anyone to him. (Will even work a weekend if you need your vehicle completed before the next work week)

This place is great!  JW is a wealth of knowledge and firmly stands behind his shops work. Will go back again.

I developed transmission trouble while out of town - never a pleasant prospect and called Rick's Transmission because it was close by.  I was very nervous about going to an unknown shop with a problem that I knew nothing about but I had to get it looked at.  JW - the owner hooked up his portable diagnostic computer and determined that it was the throttle position sensor or the connection.  He spent a few minutes and determined that it was probably the connection.  It ended up taking only a few minutes and I was back on the road.  I could have easily been taken advantage of but was treated in a manner that was more than fair.  That kind of integrity is not an everyday occurrence (unfortunately) so it's a positive experience when it happens.  Therefore, I would recommend this shop to anyone without hesitation.  As a matter of fact I'm going to be traveling to the Hopkinsville area frequently for the next several months and plan to have some periodic maintenance work done here because I'm confident I will be treated fairly.
