Big question about this place how can I actually get out of my car and walk this area I need parking. Here's the answer there are parking meters a few yards away easy to use and accept credit cards as well pay by phone. There used to be parking space in front but the city created bike Lanes all through the city for those who decide to ride and do the more adventurous route. This view here at Rincon Park is over a Mile stretch you'll enjoy it bring the kids and their toys lots of space for everyone don't forget to pack a lunch.
One of the best walks to do in San Francisco is to take a stroll up Embarcadero. From Oracle Park, South Beach, Bay Bridge, Ferry Terminal, Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf and everything in between. Stroll, jog, ‘dander’ or just walk. Plenty of cafes and amenities along the way. The cruise ships will probably also be in town at pier 27.
Love this park and views! Ideal spot to spend an afternoon lunch time away from work. Listening to the waves, bustling traffic around and some cool picturesque views.
So... what's with calling these spaces "parks"? It's a stripe of grass with a really neat sculpture... but it's hardly a park. Vagrancy issues usually abound, especially later in the day. Very cute, pretty safe, near nice things, but mostly a "stop on a walk" rather than a destination!
Its a great place for relaxing and doing nothing. Maybe a rest stop on the way to the Ferry building or Ball Park. View of the Bay Bridge, a double suspension bridge, think two Golden Gate Bridges back to back with a giant concrete pier in the middle on its way to Treasure Island sorry no treasure there. At night, dress warm and enjoy the bridge light up at night.
Every time I go to San Francisco, I like to visit this park. I love the bow and arrow. Also you can see the Oakland bay bridge from this park. A must see landmark.
Very special park where two friends of mine got married recently. No place else like it. Perfect for tourists looking for something free to do. Sit and people watch or look at the Bay.
This park was pretty cool, I enjoyed the giant cupid bow and arrow. The views here are great no matter what direction you look. You have the bridge and the water, the cool architecture of the city behind you and of course all the people passing through the park. It's a great place to get some take out and just hang out and eat.
Great start to exploring San Francisco and getting a feel of that bay wind! It's the best spot to get pictures of the Bay Bridge with many piers on either side for more unique views. Nice place to unwind and enjoy the sunrise or the sunset. It's the starting point to walk towards Pier 39 which is a great 30-40 minutes walk on the Embarcadero.
nice small park by the Bay bridge and the shore where all the piers are. The park itself is small and has this bow and arrow sculpture that is pretty impressive. The views of the bay bridge, specially at night are very nice and the area itself is a pleasant zone to have a walk, relax and enjoy the views.
