Love this park! Great if you love plants! They have great selection of different ecosystems and great place to hang out. Playground is cool, a little small but I assume it’s good for kids. They have a cute cart with craft activities for kids and for the older folk they have board games and chess. Some days they have yoga, live music etc. Fun note, there is a splash fountain that is activated when a bus passes underneath the park. Pretty cool!
Amazing location with beautiful scenery and the backdrop of the buildings adds to the appeal. Access is very convenient with elevators located all throughout the center of the park. Of course the best way to the top is the gondola! Restaurant access available with an adjoining building to the park I believe they close at 4pm. Numerous activities all throughout the week for adults children and fitness. Literally something for everyone.
One of San Francisco's newest public parks that is an amazing urban oasis located at the base of the SalesForce Tower --- 70 feet above the street on top of the transit center and over 4.5 football fields long. The park has 13 different botanical regions represented showcasing some 600 trees and 13,000 plants. There are clean, well maintained public restrooms, children's playground, amphitheater, fountains, grass areas, benches, placards to explain the different plants, earthquake construction. Definitely pull up the website to see what daily events are happening and go take a stroll or a jog through this beautiful space. Did I mention that it also has a gondola that you can ride up on for a little different perspective! ALL FREE!!! Playground: Great playground with rope gym and children story time, daily art with free supplies to check out from a cart. Restrooms: Plentiful and clean! Dog-friendliness: Unfortunately, this park is not dog friendly except for service animals. So you cannot bring fido along for a walk. Picnic area: Lot's benches, tables and chairs, grassy areas.
This park is kind of an unknown jewel right at the center of the city. It houses a gorgeous walkway at an elevated floor which provides an outstanding view of the city. To add to this, contains several flora ecosystems represented in the tree species grouped by area. It allows for sitting spaces for having lunch or meals and have a good time with family and friends. It’s open according to schedule and there’re several locations to access via elevators. You can go fully around it and enjoy the view of several building trademarks of the city. I fully recommend this experience and would go again greatly.
Giant park atop the transit center in the middle of downtown SF! Great views of the city as well as good place to relax or go for a walk. The park has unique plants native to California all throughout. The park also hosts events on some days such as concerts and yoga lessons, and has beer garden area in the middle. Definitely worth a visit!
What an amazing place this is. An urban park in the middle of a city - actually in the middle of a building!! And it's big! They have an impressive layout of trees from Redwoods and Birches, to so many flowering plants that it would please anyone who enjoys and needs a bit of nature in the city! Kudos to the guys at Salesforce and the people who maintain this place! The views of the cityscape are also spectacular!
A must visit, for any tourist... Cool experience. Very photogenic place. Clean in-air park, four levels above the ground. Felt safe there a lot security officers around. Families were even walking around midday on weekday. Nice walking path surrounding the park. I recommend.
Are you in San Francisco, have some free time? I know an excellent place where you can relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the buildings. The park has a wide variety of plants, flowers and trees, as well as a children's playground and terrace. It is completely free! You can also take a look at the millennium building, they have been working hard to repair it.
Stunning park that I frequently visit when I need to "escape the city". It has amazing views, small grassy knolls perfect for picnics, and several different "experiences" as you walk along the path like the bamboo garden & native species sections. Great place to meditate as well
Very unique experience. Clean, highly maintained and safe for families and kids. Beautifully designed park. I wish the kids playground had something for toddlers. As a visitor to SF I noticed most playgrounds are not practical for toddlers under 3 years old kids
