Such a great Ventura County Campground. It is dry RV parking only, but so beautiful. It is our favorite beach campground in the state.

We're never able to get a spot, even on weekdays. People save spots, which is not allowed. Now, we heard there is a business in there. People pay these guys to save them a space. Is that ok, in a state beach? The average person doesn't have a chance to camp here! ...but we're still trying!

Great inexpensive stay at the ocean in your RV. Have stayed twice now on the Rincon coming and going from Washington State. First come first serve, must be self sustained. Guy comes around and will not let cars stay in spot to hold and cannot prepay for spot until rv has arrived. Have always been able to drive it and find a spot but can be very busy. Close to town if you forgot milk or want to take in a movie etc. Can pay now online so cash not needed for checkin. Everyone has campfires in the rocks even though the rules state otherwise and there is a truck that comes around with wood, propane and even sewer pump if needed. The rocks have sandbags dispersed on paths up and down so you can get to the beach with some minor climbing. Get past the first 15 - 20 spots or you will be against the sea wall still. I watched waves crash up and over onto peoples campsite last time I was there in those spots. The ocean is so loud the traffic is not a bother and the train runs minimal and almost not at all after 11 or before 5. A wonderful little bit of ocean living on the road.

Can't have Ocean Front Property for 28 bucks a night ....NOTHING LIKE THE RINCON....Even in the RAIN !! I HATE IT !! NOT !!! THIS IS GOOD STUFF HERE
