Here at Rio Tomatlán we pride ourselves in serving you authentic Pacific coast cuisine prepared with the freshest, locally and seasonally grown ingredients. Our imports include a vast selection of authentic ingredients, our spices, cheeses, and bottled mexican sodas. Aside from our imports everything is prepared fresh here and made from scratch. Most of our items are gluten free and vegetarian or vegan friendly. Enjoy our authentic pacific coast cuisine from the recipies we have stolen from our abuelas!

Favorite restaurant! Rio has the best margaritas, quick service, friendly staff, delicious food, occasional live music and tons of art on the walls! They even do bingo once a week and they encourage you to reserve your spot because it gets so busy! I highly recommend dining here. I've never had a bad experience, and go at least once a month!

We had the best mexican food we've ever had outside of Mexico. The whole experience was rather authentic. The chips served were just like the ones you can find in Cancun, and the guacamole was phenomenal, not your average ho-hum guacamole. There were a variety of margaritas to choose from, our group ordered two, and they were delicious!

There has not been a single one out of many meals we've enjoyed at Rio when we've not been happy. Our most recent visit was to celebrate my daughter's 21 st Birthday. Although the food was, as always, outstanding, the service had a lot to be desired. We waited over 15 minutes to get our drinks, and another 30 for appetizers. This was not a weekend, it was a Wednesday... Perhaps the waitress was new, I'm not sure. I hope this is an isolated incident and not something we will experience again.

Waitress was rude, we had to seat ourselves because the hostess was not available for a long period of time. The waitress knowing this had an attitude!! Will never go there again. Food was okay at best. Portion sizes were ok,Atmosphere was okay. Very crowded at dinner-time time hour. The staff looked to be overwhelmed and frustrated.

Incredible authentic Mexican food. Service from waitresses and bartenders is extremely attentive, knowledgeable and awesome!! Well worth the wait if no reservations, management moves you through efficiently and timely. In one word overall "AWESOME"!
